While the Academy represents a collective standard of education, its curriculum is built upon the unique professional journey of its founder, Steve Bailey. Steve’s career began in the Armed Forces as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI), establishing a lifelong dedication to movement biomechanics, physical conditioning, and strict safety standards.
Following his military service, Steve achieved a rare clinical trifecta, qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist, a registered Podiatrist, and an Acupuncture Practitioner. As the Managing Director of the Foot, Knee, and Back Clinic in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, Steve remains an active clinician.
Over the past three decades, he has treated, coached, and rehabilitated athletes up to national and international levels. This includes working with members of the British Judo Squad, Nottingham Forest FC, Coventry City FC, Sheffield United FC, and Sheffield Wednesday FC. This extensive clinical heritage ensures every protocol taught at the Academy is highly practical, commercially viable, and immediately applicable.
The Academy’s curriculum is shaped by rigorous academic standards. Steve holds dual Master of Science (MSc) degrees, an MSc in Lower Limb Biomechanics and an MSc in Acupuncture, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
